Hardware List

This is the hardware for the project.
  1. OCZ Neural Impulse Actuator (NIA) It is actually a sensor, not an actuator, but who cares. Wait a sec. It it was an actuator it would not read my brain but write it. Thinking about it I am not shure if I should wear that thing any longer. Want to test this project, anybody?
  2. Android Open Accessory Development Kit. Which one I don't know yet. Will update this post. Looks like I will be using this.
  3. Belkin USB Hub. Need two devices on the USB.
  4. Google Nexus S Android Smartphone w/ Android 2.3.4 Some Android 3.1 tablet. Lenovo Thinkpad seems a good fit for this project.
  5. Laptop for coding. Soldering iron. Stuff.
That should be it.

This is Rumor Control. Here are the facts!

A company called Google - presumably in the search business - has told me they would provide a development kit so you can see the project live in Berlin on Nov. 19. Their motto: "Dont be evil." Hm. Let's see. Stay tuned.

Android Reads My Brain!!!

Android, a Brain Computer Interface and a soldering rod. And suddenly we'll have Skynet or something. In anticipated retrospective it is important to record everything so future time-travellers have some stuff to look at before blowing things up. Thus it was decided to meticulously cover the development of Android Reads My Brain!!! in this blog.

You can read about the humble project proposal here (pdf).
